Oscar’s first creation was the original 2012 edition. 2012 was also the year the Mayan calendar predicted the end of the world, which accounts for the Mayan-themed artwork on the bands.
The reboot, 2012 By Oscar Valladares Barber Pole features a “barber pole” wrapper. This cigar features both a maduro & a candela wrapper intertwined. Using candela is nothing new on a barber pole, but this is unique in that it uses a box-pressed format with much bolder fillers than you’d expect from the typical candela.
