Tabacalera El Artista is the family-owned factory & farms for which Artista Cigars is named.

Headquartered in the Cibao region of the Dominican Republic, they have been growing tobacco and rolling cigars for nearly 70 years. In 2011 they launched their consumer division, Artista Cigars, to export their exceptional tobaccos and finished cigar brands around the world.

Now in its third generation of family ownership, Tabacalera El Artista is much more than a cigar factory: it is a family legacy, one of the largest employers in the region, and home for many artisans who express their talents through the tobacco trade.
